Codes and conventions of radio trailer and examples

The codes and conventions of a radio trailer are:
  • Title of the documentary is usually said along with the scheduling of the documentary.
  • Always say which channel the documentary will be showed on.
  • Exracts from the documentary are used.
  • Usually 30-40 seconds long.
  • Outlines about what the documentary is about (outlines the narrative.)
  • Always placed on a appropriate radio channel.
  • There is always a music bed.
  • The voiceover from the advert is the same as the documentary.
  • Questions the audience.
